Our daily hunt rates include what is stated on all of our company brochures and literature, no extra charges, ever. UP FRONT RATES:
Up front- daily hunt pricing is a concept that is exclusive to Dakota Wingshooting Paradise-LLC. Our philosophy is to clearly state & display our daily hunt rates to all potential guests of Dakota Wingshooting Paradise-LLC.
Our daily hunting rates include what we believe to be the “core” needs of our guests. No high-package pricing means our guests have total control of their expenses, which allows us to offer more reasonable rates than other SD hunting operations during pheasant hunting season in South Dakota.
LODGING
Dakota Wingshooting Paradise has built strong relationships with upscale hotels in the immediate area which are far more comfortable than your standard South Dakota pheasant hunting lodge. DWPs sponsor hotel locations have discounted rates exclusively for our guests each season. Due to our extremely large customer base, we have the ability to secure large blocks of hotel rooms, each year. Corporate hunts up to 20 can be accommodated easily. Our staff will help make all of your reservations, if desired.
Hotel lodging is available in the cities of Mitchell-Plankinton & Chamberlain, South Dakota. Dependant on your direction of travel, we have discounted rates with several 3 star-quality hotels and suites for your lodging needs.
Many guests choose to stay at our sponsor hotel locations in the city of Mitchell, SD. The hotel features a convention area, business suites, sauna, Jacuzzi, pool & recreation area, free breakfast buffet each morning, messaging services, high speed internet service, and shuttle services.
These hotels, located in the city of Mitchell, SD & are conveniently located a mere 2 blocks from another sportsman’s paradise, Cabelas Retail Store. Our guests frequent Cabelas on a daily basis. All non-resident small game licensing can be conveniently purchased over the counter at Cabelas, upon your groups arrival in Mitchell.
All of your pheasant hunting gear can also be purchased at Cabelas. Since the opening of this new store, our guests have experienced hours of shopping enjoyment each year.
Our extended hunting season opens: September 1st thru March 31st
Our best dates go early, due to our high number of return clients. We highly recommend early bookings for the best dates. Deposits are required to confirm and hold dates.
A 50% deposit (per hunter) is due at the time of booking to ensure dates of preference. Deposits are non-refundable after July 1st, yearly.
As an added service to our guests, we now own/operate the largest professional game processing facility in the Mitchell, SD area. All pheasants will be professionally processed-packaged & stored until your departure. Prices are charged per bird, plus SD tax. Next day and second day UPS air shipping services are also available, if needed.

**Notice**
Groups of twelve (12) or less:
The daily hunt rate is $100.00 per/person/day extra, this rate applies only if there is another smaller group here hunting & your group "will not" hunt with them. Notification must be received "PRIOR TO" your arrival, so that we have the proper number of professional guides available.
A minimum # of (3) hunters required to reserve a hunt.
A minimum of (2) days reservation is required to reserve a hunt.
*We do not accept walk-in hunters during prime season.
Non-resident pheasant hunting licenses:
- 10 Day Non-Resident Regular Season --- $110.00+/-
- 1 Day Non-Resident Preserve License --- $37.00
- 5 Day Non-Resident Preserve License --- $67.00
- Yearly Non-Resident Preserve License -- $87.00
A preserve license is all that is required to hunt.

PRIVATE "EXCLUSIVE" HUNTING
Exclusive use of Dakota Wingshooting Paradise fields/properties requires a min. group size of 14 in-field hunting. Groups of 14 or more will be scheduled using 2 pro-guides & several guide dogs.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Gratuities for guides and staff are optional and are not included in the rates above. We accept Master Card, VISA, American Express as well as personal or corporate checks. All payments via Credit card will be charged a 3% processing/handling fee. South Dakota sales tax is in addition to the above rates.
* Guarantee policy. The best guarantee in the business! Guarantee applies to the first full day of hunting, your satisfaction is guaranteed or your money back! Guarantee is not applicable after the first day of hunting. If you are not completely satisfied after your first day of hunting with us, your hunt is free. Guarantee applies on an individual basis only, not as a group. * Non compliance with Dakota Wingshooting Paradise llc's polices and procedures, as described in the forms sent prior to your hunt, will render the guarantee null and void, at Dakota Wingshooting Paradise's discretion. |
