To facilitate a value , we do offer our clientele a home away from home atmosphere at one of our sponsor hotels, located in Mitchell, SD. We also have hotels in the cities West of Mitchell such as Plankinton, and Chamberlain South Dakota. These hotels feature upscale lodging and service. Please note- not all hotels used by DWP have discounted rates for our guests.
Our tremendous growth and success over the years has certainly come from our famous wild South Dakota pheasant hunting, but we believe it is also because of the way we operate our pheasant hunting guide service. We believe, that our hotel sponsors are the professionals in the lodging area; and we are your professional in the fields, which is the reason for your trip, the pheasant hunting! One low, lodging fee allows us to provide a reasonable fee for our pheasant hunting, allowing our clientele to control their own lodging costs.
We promote unsurpassed pheasant hunting, not an expensive South Dakota hunting lodge, with twin beds, and overcrowded dinner tables as with many large South Dakota hunting lodges. DWP’s staff concentrates 100% of it’s time on the fundamentals of producing a pheasant hunt other’s try to duplicate!
Deluxe hotel accommodations are conveniently located across the street from our new Cabela’s 85,000 sq.ft. retail outlet, many convenience stores, shopping centers, and restaurants. Fantastic steakhouses are right downtown from your lodging, along with an exciting and fun night life!
Our sponsor hotel rates are discounted exclusively for DWP guests, the rooms are 3 star quality or better, and the hotels customer service is first rate! Our extremely large customer base, has allowed us to offer our guests hotel lodging rates at very low costs, per person.
Room rates average: $60.00 plus tax during the months of September, November, December, January, February, March.
October hotel rates average: $80.00 plus tax.
These rates are based on double occupancy, & PER ROOM, not per person. Hunting dogs are allowed for an extra fee, or may be boarded at our local veterinary clinic 2 blocks from our sponsor hotel locations.
 
 
Rooms offer deluxe accommodations such as queen beds, daily maid service, 54 guest rooms and specialty suites, business/meeting center, indoor recreation area with pool, whirlpool and sauna, lobby with fireplace and cozy conversation area, free breakfast buffet with homemade waffles and fresh fruit, free high speed internet access, messenger service, and a dog exercise area. Hunting dogs are allowed in room, in select areas. (Hotel discounts apply to our sponsor hotel locations only).
Corporate hunting reservations can include several blocks of hotel rooms, ranging from standard non-smoking double rooms thru business suites or private rooms. We work inconjunction with many 3 star or better quality hotels and suites, so we have the ability to reserve large blocks of hotel rooms, with ease for our guests
