 Dakota Winghshooting Paradise-LLC was founded in the early 1980’s, and has been farmed and managed for fabulous pheasant hunting ever since. One of my closest friends is the original founder of the hunting operation, Don Reeves. He and his wife have been host to thousands of guests over the years, and as a result have produced a thriving, well-established business, that is now known as Dakota Wingshooting Paradise-LLC. Currently, this property holds monumental numbers of pheasants, and is definitely some of the most productive hunting ground for pheasant hunting in South Dakota.
Dakota Wingshooting Paradise’s owner Koby Mahrt, has been active in the pheasant hunting industry for over 20 years, and has built 1 other hunting operation, with outstanding results. Koby and his wife also own/operate Mitchell’s largest professional wild game processing business, his longevity in the hunting industry of South Dakota speaks for itself.
Multiple operations providing hunting in South Dakota, professional game processing, public relations business development and marketing keep Koby and his staff busy from season to season. He has over two decades of hunting industry related credentials in his portfolio. One of his recent accolades comes from the office of the South Dakota governor. The South Dakota Department of Tourism “Great Service” award! This award was the direct result of satisfied guest’s hand-written letters to the SD Governor’s office. We are hunting outfitters who work diligently to insure a first-class, 5 star quality hunt for each and every group, season to season. We are a FULL-TIME HUNTING OPERATION, which produces full-time results. DWP is not a part-time or weekend hunting lodge, that has little or no professional staff. With a vigorous 7 day a week hunting schedule, and hundreds of guests, our season is busy. However, I guarantee to host “every” group from beginning to departure, as they arrive. Our Pro-Staff Team of hunting guides and our dogs are a asset to DWP and are personally hired and trained by myself.
 Great pheasant hunting does not flourish everywhere in South Dakota, in-fact only a few counties are located in the “pheasant triangle” of South Dakota. Location-location-location + prime habitat is the reason for our outstanding success each season. These properties, along with a large staff of professional employees makes Dakota Wingshooting Paradasie stand-out among it’s competitors.
